ABSTRACT

The novus V55 system introduces a compact, high-throughput triple quadrupole LC-MS/MS platform designed to deliver robust quantitative performance while improving laboratory efficiency. This study follows ASTM D8421 for PFAS analysis using the novus V55 system, with a focus on practical method performance in real-world aqueous samples collected from airport facilities. Samples included water from non-potable and operational systems, representing matrices relevant to routine environmental monitoring. Results demonstrated reliable PFAS detection, including PFHxA and PFBS in selected samples. These results demonstrate how the novus V55 system can help laboratories confidently expand routine PFAS testing while maintaining the performance expectations of ASTM D8421.
