As a 30+ year practitioner, educator, scholar, and mentor, Dr. Vinci has led public health departments in several communities across in the country. He has taught at undergraduate and graduate levels at several prestigious universities in the Nation.
Leon serves NEMC as Co-Chair of the Citizen Science section, and has done so for the past 5 years.
Further, Dr. Vinci is widely published, serves on professional committees, and has given scientific papers and other presentations at national and international educational conferences. As a RiverKeeper, he is a citizen scientist in his community protecting local streams and waterways.
