Matthew MacLennan
With over 10 years of experience developing analytical and synthetic methodologies, Dr. MacLennan completed his PhD in Analytical Chemistry at the University of British Columbia where he developed a cost-saving, environmentally friendly method for fingerprinting contaminants in oil sands industrial wastewater. Over the past 2 years, as senior scientist at Pacific Rim Laboratories in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada, Matthew has developed LC/MS/MS methods for PFAS in water, soil and tissue, TOP Assay, brominated flame retardants and other persistent organic pollutants in a variety of matrices.
