ABSTRACT
Solid Phase extraction has recently gain traction to become staple method for sample preparation. The mechanism involves selectively depositing analytes from a liquid sample onto an adsorbent which allows the enrichment and purification of the analytes on a solid adsorbent through adsorption from the solution. Many labs are looking into SPE due to the cost-effective technique and the reliability of the technique. Our lab was able to successfully validate and is currently using SPE for our wastewater and permit related samples analysis.
